Janette and Clifford
When we first met, Janette wanted rustic all the way; but the more we chatted Janette realized that rustic wasn’t entirely her vision. She loved the idea of mixing elegant and rustic and we termed her design a “high society barn.”
Janette chose coral, peach and gray and asked that we use a mix of milk glass, mercury
glass and crystals! She then turned us loose at the Studio to create a beautiful
day. We first draped the ceiling of the Stable at Bluemont Vineyard with sheer fabric
then dropped in crystal chandeliers. We chose the most unique milk glass pieces
from our large collection and filled them with roses, hydrangea, ranunculus, brunia
and dusty miller. Each table featured a collection of pieces and some tables received
tall crystal candelabras filled with flowers. Plenty of candlelight contributed to
the romantic night.
A beautiful and unique highlight to the décor was the vintage door that Clifford and Janette found at a local antique shop. This gorgeous door was featured at the altar, dressed with seeded eucalyptus and brown cymbidium orchids.
